Recently, 18 year 6’s went on a sailing trip to Southampton Water Activities Centre. We took part in a 2 day sailing trip on the Itchen River, just by the Itchen Bridge. They went on sailing boats. On the first day, we learnt basic sailing and got interrupted by one of the old hovertravel hovercrafts both days. One pair even capsized! On the second day we went to the main river, it was incredibly choppy and made me really panic. We got interrupted by the hovercraft! In the afternoon, we continued sailing back on the Itchen River and it was much easier as there wasn’t much wind. 6 people got to sail in Picos!
It was a great day!
